Our seven-year-old Miss Kitty is just as beautiful and sassy as her Dodge City saloon owner namesake! Consequently, (and again much like her namesake's implied profession) we think she would likely be best suited to a home with only adults. We actually think she had a pretty unpleasant life prior to coming to us. She has been with us quite a while getting back into good shape, regaining her beauty, and learning that not all people are going to be mean to her. She has come a long way, but can still have moments of distrust. This is why she needs a calm, confident, trusting person to continue showing her what this happy life looks like. She is not particularly shy, but sometimes she can tell you her feelings in less than gentle ways. So, she needs a cat savvy person who will listen when she tells you what she wants and doesn't want. This will lead to a strong mutually respectful relationship and she will be a great companion for you.
