These precious little ones are here by the skin of their teeth. Their mother has been a long time resident of a local warehouse hardware store. The employees have been caring for her and trying desperately to trap her to get her fixed but were for the longest time utterly unsuccessful. We have found homes for more than one litter of her babies. Then suddenly, hoorah! In a flowerpot on a high shelf, the babies were rescued and the mother was trapped. Alas, the management made it clear that they were not supporting helping the babies, but after some negotiation was willing to allow the mother to return once her motherly duties were complete and she was fixed. So, we agreed to help with this one last litter, got mom tested, vaccinated, and fixed and now mom has gone back from whence she came and these little precious home improvement necessities are ready to become a part of someone's family!
